Project Name: Risk Assessment NUON pipeline Enschede-Epe (D)

Project description:
Technical assistance in the execution of a risk assessment, meeting the Dutch NTA8000 requirements, for the 24" pipeline from Enschede (NL) to the gas storage plant in Epe (D). The assessment will be carried out by making use of the Bowtie methodology as been developed by PIMS International. Next to it the software package of PIMS International will be used to execute TCO-calculations, calculate the Performance Indicators and present the effectivity of (proposed) mitigating measures on the Risk Matrix of NUON. Execution is planned to be finished end of October 2011.

Project description:
A methodology required for Gasunie to meet NTA 8000 requirements (and to meet the requirements of the BEVB, the new Dutch law on the management of external risk of high pressure gas / oil pipelines) has been developed, in an earlier stage of the project, by experts of PIMS International. The current project involves the operationalisation of the methodology developed including the execution of risk assessment which are required to demonstrate full transparency of risk management practice in Gasunie's pipeline Operations.

Project Name: Development Inspection Procedure

Project description:
The development of an interactivity Inspection Procedure in SADT format with active links to all relevant documents, procedures and screen shots of software tools required to execute the inspection process and to fulfil all administrative and/or legal requirements. Some issues:
- inventory of guidelines and instructions of the inspection process,
- re-design inspection process in Plan - Do - Check - Act diagram,
- implementation of the SADT process scheme,
- dynamic links to all relevant documents,
- introduction of the new SADT process scheme in the Inspection department of TEPNL.
